This image is simply a detail image extracted from a 190 degree panorama. However, when I say "simply," I do not mean to say that it has just been cropped out of a larger image.
As with all of the panoramic extractions shown on this site, this image has actually been rotated around the viewer. So, a detail - like the one shown here- may have appeared on the far left of the viewer in the original panorama. When that view is extracted from the original , it can be projected to the front, as though the viewer has turned to face it. Confusing? ... You bet.
